Should SPOOFING be part of cyber-crime law?

First of all we must understand the concept of spoofing. In the context of network security, a spoofing attack is a situation in which one person or program successfully masquerades as another by falsifying data and thereby gaining an illegitimate advantage. Spoofing is of many kinds email spoofing, sms spoofing, ip spoofing etc.

The purpose of the spoofing this or phenomenon is to send an electronic message with false identifications to gain unauthorized information which can later be used for illegal purposes. This is the concept of spoofing.

Therefore spoofing may cause serious threats to individuals, organizations and even governments. Now there comes the question should spoofing be part of cyber crime law? Now we analyze this by considering what the cyber crime is?

Any person or organization trying to obtain any informtion through illegal ways that is a threat to national security, buisness security or even personal security. So in my opinion Spoofing is a crime even though IP-Spoofing is helpful to identify location of the culprit but it damages your personal property badly. Your personal details, documents can be accessed electronically.
